Primrose Legal Placement was started with the intention of filling a much-needed space in the legal recruitment world. Whereas much of the industry has become transactional, automated and merely focused on identifying talent and job openings quickly with little strategy or thought, Primrose seeks to focus on quality of opportunity and providing personalized, strategic advice to both employers and lawyers looking to make a career transition. Whether you are a law firm looking for strategic expansion advice, a partner looking to move to a firm with a practice more aligned with your current needs or an associate looking to make a transition after a few years in practice, Primrose will provide you with the tailored, personalized advice that you deserve.
About Us
Zara Davis, Founder
Zara Davis brings over a decade of legal recruitment experience focusing on placements of associate, counsel and partner-level attorneys across the United States. She has provided strategic input and guidance to a multitude of law firms looking to strategically expand their ranks, grow their geographic footprints and hire into new practice areas. Zara also served as Associate Director of Employer Engagement at Penn State Law — University Park while maintaining a robust legal recruitment presence. Prior to entering the legal recruitment industry, Zara practiced law at a Philadelphia-area law firm where she represented major oil, energy and chemical companies.
Zara’s experience as a practicing attorney, law school career services administrator, and legal search consultant gives her a unique perspective in both helping employers evaluate their needs and guiding lawyers through the nuances of pursuing new opportunities.
Outside of work, Zara enjoys summers at the beach, winters on the ski mountain, and spending time with her husband, two sons and their chocolate Labrador, Jake.
